Biggest Debut of the Year is by Mumford and Sons.
Mumford & Sons have scored the biggest first-week sales of the year moving 600k copies of their second album “Babel,” according to Nielsen SoundScan. ” The British folk band’s new album is also the biggest-selling rock album since AC/DC’s “Black Ice” sold 784,000 back in 2008. Adele still holds the title for most albums sold in a single week this year, with her titanic album “21.”
I am looking forward to hearing this record.
