ALBUM REVIEW: Ron Pope - Atlanta

Ron Pope. A name that you should be familiar with as his new album “Atlanta” releases through the airwaves all across the world. Atlanta brings a refreshing sound to our ears with his smooth guitar strumming and angelic like vocals. This album gives you a bit of everything, from slow and smooth, to upbeat; making your head bob. In a time when truly great music is hard to find, Ron Pope nailed this one on the head. A definite two thumbs up and even a high five thrown in for good measure.

  1. Album is great and refreshing. He has a different sound that can be compared to such musicians or sounds if you will as John Mayer. For the record I will play a Ron pop track before a Mayer. I have been listening to his music since The Bedroom Demos, which was severally underrated. I may even venture to say this album lead me to listening to rock. I traditionally before that album listened to just hip-hop and R&B. Ron’s music gets better and better as the years progress. He is a beast and will be the sound of the coming years. Keep it up Ron, and make a trip To Indy sometime!
