Principal photography has completed for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey which will be in theaters this December. (Can I get a fangirl squee!?) The filming took just under nine months and now they are off to Comiccon!
The movie is split in to two parts - The first installment arrives in theaters on Dec. 14, while the second part, titled The Hobbit: There And Back Again, arrives in December 2013.
Sherlock star and The Office (U.K.) alum Martin Freeman is on board as Bilbo, while The Lord of the Rings players Ian McKellen, Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom and Cate Blanchett are also set to return.
Is anyone else as excited as I am?
