Gossip Girl 9/27

The Gossip Girl website is under construction. It is the first day of classes back at Columbia, and Nate has decided to start it off by giving Chuck his little black book back. For the first time since Blair, Chuck is truly happy with Eva. One of the things that Blair is most looking forward to is getting into Hamilton House, an exclusive members only club at Columbia. It turns out that Juliet is the key master, and Blair is the only one to get a key. Serena is left out in the cold.
While Rufus and Eric are out of the house, Lily invites Chuck over to discuss what has been going on in his life since he left last summer. Rufus heads over to the Brooklyn apartment to let Dan know that Milo is not actually his son. Just after hearing the news, there is a blast from Gossip Girl showing that Georgina is in St. Bart's and not at the spa like she told Dan. During their time together, Chuck apologizes again for what happened with Jenny. Lily decides to invite him to Fashion's night out so that he can introduce Eva to the family.
Serena is trying to find her way around the Columbia campus when she runs into Nate, who completely blows her off to join Juliet inside Hamilton House. In order to prepare for Lily's party, Chuck takes Eva shopping. He gets called away and tells Eva to buy anything and everything that she wants. While shopping with Juliet, Blair runs into Eva. Being the person that we all know and love, she tears Eva down and puts her in her place (at least according to Blair). During their shopping trip, it becomes apparent that Juliet is trying to keep Blair away from Serena.
Dan is still trying to locate Georgina in St. Bart's, and when he calls the last of the resorts and still can't locate her, he realizes that she is gone for good. Blair and Serena had plans to meet up for dinner to discuss their first day, but Juliet convinces her to stay at Hamilton House. Blair tells Serena she is just going to take it easy, but there is another blast on Gossip Girl and Serena sees exactly what Blair is up to. In order to get closer to Juliet, Nate decides to volunteer alongside her at Fashion's Night Out. After seeing them together, Serena is more convinced than ever that Juliet is up to something. She brings her concerns to Blair, and Blair tells her that she's just mad that she didn't get in.
While getting ready for the party, Eva tells Chuck that she changes her mind and doesn't want to go. When Chuck asks her why, she explains what happened at the dress shop. Chuck tells her that Blair is just being Blair and that everyone will love her. She changes her mind and they head to the party. Eric is still not ready to forgive Chuck for everything that happened with Jenny, and he wants to make sure that Rufus doesn't either; so he tells him about Chuck attacking her during her freshman year of high school.
When Serena confronts Juliet about not getting a key, Juliet tells her that it was Blair that kept her out. Dan goes to see what his options are at child protective services, and when they tell him that Milo will most likely go from foster home to foster home; he decides that he is going to keep him. When Vanessa hears what's going on she offers to move in and help raise Milo.
Chuck tries to apologize to Rufus at the party, and he is just not having it. He wants to make sure that Chuck's new girlfriend knows the man that she is getting involved with and wants to tell her everything. When Eva walks up, rather than have Rufus tell her who is really is, he pretends not to know her. As she goes to leave in the limo, Chuck chases after her and she demands to know who he really is and what he is so afraid to have her hear. After she hears it all, she finds Chuck and tells him that she has seen the man that he can be, and that is who she is staying for. Chuck takes her to meet the family.
Serena confronts Blair at the party, GG somehow manages to get a live stream of the fight. Juliet takes the opportunity to humiliate Serena ever farther by connecting the fight to the big screens is the room. When the fight turns violent, Juliet decides its time to break up the fight. It turns out that it wasn't really a fight, rather it was a setup for Juliet. When she is called out for her lies, Juliet tries to cover it up and fails. Serena has always been at the top of the list for Hamilton House; and because of what she has done, Juliet has to give her key to Serena. She is no longer a member of Hamilton House. Nate chases after Juliet, and she admits that she feels more for him then she thought. They kiss and Serena sees it all.
Georgina shows up at Dan's doorstep as though nothing happened. Little does she know that Dan knows everything and he makes sure to let her know that. She then tells him that someone was trying to kill her and she thought that Milo would be safest with him, even though he was his biological father. She decides that she is ready for Milo now, and there is nothing that Dan can do, because he is not the real father. Georgina takes Milo, and Dan is left with an empty nursery. When Vanessa asks what she is supposed to do now, Dan tells her that she is still moving in.
Serena still cares about Nate and Blair still loves Chuck. They are chatting at Blair's when she surprises Serena with her own room. Blair and Serena are roommates.
Juliet meets up with a guy in jail and they discuss their plan to bring down Serena. It is implied that they are a couple.

House RECAP
Right off the bat I recognize Alyson Stoner, a guest of Artists On Demand a few months back. She is riding a skateboard and her brother, a handsome wheelchair bound youngster, is watching. She decides to push him around, but while she is doing that she faints.
Back at the hospital, House and Cuddy are figuring out how to work together and not let it affect their performance. House instantly outs the relationship to his entire team, in which Wilson refuses to believe them. House gets Cuddy to admit to the relationship in Wilson's office right before they have to go meet with HR. This is where they admit they can work together and they will be fine.
House returns to the young girl, Stoner, to try and find out what the problem is. First they think some scare test will work, then her kidneys start to fail, which they find out after she doesn't have to urinate even though she drank 2.5 liters of liquid. Then they think its something causing her kidneys to fail, and just as they are going to give her medicine, she spews blood all over the place. Turns out her lung is bad and Cuddy and House have to decide what to do, fill it with foam or suture it. Cuddy says foam, so House sutures it knowing she really meant that and trying to decide why she would lie.
They find her a lung transplant, but it fails within hours. They go through some guessing to find out if its an infection or a rejection and turns out it is a rejection. She needs ANOTHER new lung... but the transplant people will not put her back on the list seems she already got one. So what is left??? She is going to die.
House throws out an option to take half a lung from her little brother, who has CPD. This will only allow him to live to 25, but without his partial lung, that will shorten his life span by a few years, which is a lot in his time. The family fights over it and decides to not take their sons lung. House and Cuddy go at it in the hall screaming back and forth about "we can't play God" and House saying "We do every day." Hugo, the brother, overhears the conversation... and in one of the most heartbreaking moments I have ever seen on house... he spills his heart to his sister. He tells her how she does everything and he gets to watch and cheer and always be there for her. But he never gets to be the hero... so he begs her (in tears might I add) to let him do this for her and let him be the hero. Let this be the big thing he is meant to do with his life. And then ends it with "Don't make me live without you..." And que the sobbing. The whole family sobs hysterically, as well as I... and we never do get to see the surgery, but I have to say... House and Cuddy finally figured out how to work together... Brutal Honesty! That is the key!
So until next week... let's try and get the image of House's hand on Cuddy's butt out of our thoughts.
Fox Cancels "Lone Star"
After just two episodes have aired, Fox has already canceled their new show "Lone Star" on Tuesday. Only five episodes have been filmed, but the network canceled it after low ratings, just under 80%, and low viewership, only 10 million between the two episodes.
Fox has other blockbusters, including the #1 show on the networks, Glee, which airs every Tuesday at 8 pm EST. Most recently, the Brittany and Britney episode featuring Britney Spears aired last night.
Lone Star is only the first show to be cut this season, but with so many new ones out this year, its only a matter of time before we see if more drop.

According to reports, Menke had set out on a hike with her dog and a friend in the excessive heat, and about an hour in her friend turned back. Menke never showed back up. She was reported missing at 4 pm and after hours of searching between authorities and her family, she was found at the bottom of a ravine, only a little ways from some houses.
Menke has helped Tarantino make his movies, such as "Pulp Fiction", "Kill Bill", and "Inglorious Bastards", what they are.

Millie and Mouth wake up in bed together after a rough night of drinking, and realize that they have slept together. During the awkward morning after conversation, Mouth informs Millie that he still hasn't found a job and his keeping himself busy with the podcast that he is running. Mouth is running his podcast throughout the entire show.
Brooke and Julian babysit Jaime for the day; and while they are at the hospital nursery, Jaime asks Julian where babies come from. Julian's answer, "Storks, bro." Not satisfied with this answer, he asks Brooke. Brooke's answer, "Not from me."
After they get Clay stable again, Nathan and Hayley are told that clay's organs are failing and that he needs a kidney transplant. Nathan offers to give Clay his kidneys, but the doctor warns him that if he does, his basketball career is over. While discussing this with Hayley, it comes out that his back is getting worse and he doesn't know if he wants to chance another season or two of basketball. It turns out that Nathan is not a match for Clay, and he isn't dealing well with the thought of losing him. He tells Hayley that he knows what she went through when she lost her mom.
When Hayley tells Quinn what is going on, she begs Hayley to take her to see Clay. After denying her request per the doctors, Hayley decides that the time may be coming for Quinn to say goodbye. Hayley sneaks Quinn out of her room to go and see Clay, and we learn that she still has the bullet lodged inside 0f her chest. Clay is watching over her, and seeing her fall apart makes him blame himself that much more for what happened. He goes up to the roof with the guy he met in the waiting room, and discovers that his name is Will and that he is there because of a car accident he caused due to texting while driving. During another one of their chats, one of them crashes. We don't know who it is and when Clay closes his eyes we think it is all over. Next thing you know, you hear Quinn's voice, and she is reading the paper to Clay. Will did not make it, but he was an organ donor. He saved Clay's life and Clay is now awake.
Brooke doesn't know if she can ever trust Victoria again after everything that has happened. Meanwhile, Victoria and Millie are at Clothes Over Bros discussing how Millie is going to take over for Victoria once she goes to jail. Victoria tells Millie that she is not to tell Brooke what is going on, but Millie is not comfortable lying to Brooke again. Millie goes over to Brooke and Julian's place and tells Brooke the truth. Brooke heads over to Clothes Over Bros and tells Victoria that she doesn't want her to go. Victoria tells her that this is the only way for Brooke to stay our of jail and keep the company. The next day, Victoria goes to the prison and turns herself in.

One Tree Hill Recap 9/20
The opening song was performed by Kate Voegele this week.Nathan has left for training camp, and Hayley is having trouble getting a hold of Quinn. Mouth is still looking for a job, so he heads over to Clothes Over Bros to see that the place is completely empty. Brooke gets a breakdown of the charges (a whole bunch of different typed of fraud) against her from her lawyer. Millie and Victoria forged her signature on a number of documents that stated she knew what was going on. Alex is the newest bartender at TRIC.
When Hayley doesn't hear from Quinn, she goes to check on her. She finds Quinn and Clay barely hanging on and calls 911. Clay gets Quinn to remember what happened while they are in the "in between." Clay thinks that it is his fault that Katie shot them. While in the "in between," Quinn and Clay can see everything that is going on in real time; they just can't communicate with anyone but themselves. While at the hospital, Hayley calls Mia and asks her to pick Jaime up from the park. When Mia gets there with Chase, Jaime won't go with them because he thinks they are strangers. Brooke is beyond pissed at Victoria and Millie. She never gave them permission to do anything illegal when she gave them permission to sign her name. When she gets the message from Hayley, she sends Julian to go and get Jaime.
When Julian gets there, Jaime knows that something is up. Julian tries to keep Jaime occupied with various activities. Jaime teaches Julian how to hit a baseball, and he also beats him at every game that they play. Mia and Chase stay at the park and discuss the break-up. Mia thought that Chase deserved better than "a girl who sleeps better on a tour bus than her own bed;" and Chased felt that it was Mia who felt that she deserved better.
Quinn made it out of surgery and she is stable. Back in the "in between," Quinn and Clay are not ready to die. They tell each other that if they have to be stuck in this place, they are glad that they are there together. As soon as Nathan hears what happened, he is home to be with Hayley and Jaime. He goes in to talk to Clay as soon as he is out of surgery and tells him that he loves hi. It's a miracle that him and Quinn are even alive. Meanwhile, Hayley is talking to Quinn and telling her that she is pregnant. She also tells her that she wants her to be the baby's godmother and that she needs her to pull through this. After hearing this, Quinn and Clay somehow go from the hospital to a beautiful garden just by opening a door. While there, Clay tells Quinn that she has to leave him and wake up. She doesn't want to leave him, but he promises her he will wake up and they will spend a long and happy life together. Nathan and Hayley are in the Chapel praying for the couple to pull through this.
Brooke tells Nathan and Hayley that she was arrested and that she stood a good chance of losing the company. On a lighter note, she asks if she can have Jaime when the new baby is born and Nathan tells her that she can as long as she gives him the sex talk. Jaime figures out that there is something is wrong with Quinn, because she would never miss an opportunity to spend a say with him. He wants to go to the hospital to see her so he can give her his gold star for good luck.
Brooke goes back to Clothes Over Bros and confronts Victoria about never having been proud of her. Victoria say she did what she did because she knew that Brooke would pull through and make the men's line great. She's always been proud of Brooke and who she is. It's a very touching moment for the mother daughter duo.
While at TRIC, Millie runs into Mouth and they start talking about what happened. They both say that they are at fault for what has happened. All over town, people are admitting their fault in their given situations. Brooke thinks admits fault for not taking proper control of her company; Millie says its her fault Mouth left Nebraska; Mouth says its his fault for losing his job in Tree Hill; and Mia tells Alex that it was her fault that she and Chase broke up.
The next and last thing you see is Quinn in the hospital opening her eyes with tears streaming down her cheek.

New Breaking Dawn Cast Announced
Gloria Stuart Dies At the Age of 100
Gloria Stuart, who most of this generation knows as "Rose Dawson" from the blockbuster hit Titanic, has passed away in her West Los Angeles home on Sunday. Stuart was 100 years old.
Stuart came to the big screen back in the day of black and white movies and during the depression. From there she took a break after many years of acting and made her comeback with Titanic, where she played the elderly Rose Dawson, as she helped explorers look for the Heart of the Ocean, a necklace she was supposedly wearing the day the Titanic sunk.
Stuart may have been 100 years old, but was just as beautiful as she was back in her twenty's decades ago.

Supernatural Recap: Exile on Main Street

THEN: Swan Song – Episode 22
Death made a deal with Dean in which he would give him the fourth and final Horseman ring on the grounds that Sam would surrender to Lucifer. The final Horseman was growing weary of being under Lucifer’s control, and Dean agreed after a stare down of Deathly proportions.
So, we watched Sam say yes to Lucifer, a heart clenching moment in Supernatural history. But secret plans and meat suits didn’t stop Lucifer from taking control completely, freezing Sam out as he prepared to unleash Hell on Earth.
We started to see Sam fighting back and when Michael, using Dean and Sam’s half brother Adam as his vessel, and Lucifer met, it was an all out battle of epic proportions. Castiel became Angel meatshake after Molotov cocktailing Michael in an effort to give Dean a last minute chance to get through to Sam. Lucifer also broke Bobby’s neck, killing him instantly.
Lucifer beat Dean to pulp (damn him) and at the last minute (hurrah!), Sam took control and pulled Michael into Hell. We watched in disbelief as the ground swallowed the two brothers and left no trace that they’d ever been there. Dean, broken and bleeding was healed by Castiel after he was brought back to life by the Big Man Upstairs who had been strangely absent throughout the battle of Heaven and Hell. Dad finally came through for his son. Heartwarming, eh?
Not knowing where to go, Dean headed for Lisa’s after Sam had previously begged him to live an ordinary ‘apple pie’ life and not to anything to bring him back. We watched a devastated Dean trying to adjust to life without his brother, unaware Sam was watching him from outside Lisa’s house. We, the viewer, were unaware whether Sam was truly back, or Lucifer had won out in the battle.
NOW: Exile on Main Street – Episode One
A year later, we see Dean as a family man, something Sam had always knew Dean wanted. However, the gaping hole also known as Sam in Dean’s life was visibly missing. We watch as he interacts in his daily life, accompanied by flashes of his former alongside his younger brother.
From the construction yard, cutting wood, to staking vampires, it’s clear that Dean’s life is no longer the same. From his domestic situation with Lisa and Ben to his old, beat up truck, Dean lives an ordinary life, as Sam wished for him.
But signs of supernatural incidents are everywhere to Dean. From a hotel construction site to his own home, Dean becomes increasingly paranoid for his and his families safety. We see his many efforts to keep them safe in the form of a devil’s trap painted under a doormat by the front door and a bottle of holy water and salt underneath the bed in which he sleeps.
It becomes clear that Dean is just seeing demons where only daylight remains. He meets a friend, Sid, for a drink and we see a flash of the new Dean, less womanizing and more monogamous, much to my personal disappointment. I’m a Dean fan, what can I say?
From then on out, strange things start happening to Dean. He sees strange things all over town and decides to investigate to comical proportions in which he finds a scared Yorkshire terrier to be his only lead.
Possums kill, Sid. – That’s all I’m saying.
Things become increasingly weird when Dean returns home. Lisa finds him alone in the garage trying to remain inconspicuous after gather tools for a hunt. He asks her to trust his ‘spidey sense’ and take Ben to the movies and into safety, so he can give the area one last scout around. She agrees and takes Ben with her.
It’s then we see the most shocking person of all. After five seasons, our old friend Yellow Eyes is back! (Did anyone cheer a little? No? Just me then!) Dean can hardly believe that the person who destroyed his father is back and as Yellow Eyes tries to drum it into Dean that he can’t avoid his past, he passes out. But not before…WE SEE SAM!
A thousand sighs of relief can be heard universally as we see everyone’s favorite Demon-blood-sucking-Lucifer-Vesseled little brother back with a vengeance! Sam proves to Dean he’s human after consuming salt laden holy water and slashing his arm to reveal red, human blood. An emotional reunion is had by the brothers and we cheer for Dean at getting his beloved brother back. And maybe cry. Whatever.
However, something is not quite right. I’m not talking about the crazy demon hunting family, but the back-from-the-dead Grandfather, Samuel. Something just screams suspicious about this one from the off and left me shouting at my screen. Do not trust him, Dean!
It turns out Dean had been poisoned by a Djinn, a creature that uses the persons worse fears, which is where the hallucination of Yellow Eyes came from. The bad news? There is a pack of Djinn and they must be stopped. Realizing that the Djinn are after the brothers, Dean slips back into hunter mode easily and after taking Lisa and Ben to Bobby’s (Welcome back, Mr. Singer!), he takes off with his family to defeat the Djinn. Before they can be stopped, Dean’s friend, Sid and his family are killed.
Dean is cornered and poisoned by the Djinn, causing horrific hallucinations in which Lisa is killed by Yellow Eyes and Ben is seen to be drinking his blood. Just in time and saving the day, Sam and his grandfather defeat the Djinn, but not before Sam’s grandfather is seen capturing one of them.
Finally we see Dean and Sam alone. Sam asks Dean to resume a life of hunting with him and their ‘family’. Dean can’t bring himself to leave Lisa and Ben, knowing they’ll be at risk now because Sam is back and hunting again. What does this mean for the brothers? We see Dean offer Sam his beloved Impala. Sam turns him down, having got his own wheels. Where did he get that sweet ride, that’s what we want to know! The brothers appear to go their separate ways.
So what’s going on with Samuel? Can we trust him? I think not! Something seems off with Sam too, but in our blindsided happiness at his presence, we'll over look it....for a while. But, we can only watch this season unfold with baited breath! Sam and (hopefully soon) Dean are back on form, kicking demon ass and taking names! Welcome back Supernatural, I missed you!

NBC and CNN Execs Step Down
NBC Universal Chief Executive, Jeff Zucker, announced he will step down once Comcast Corp takes over the network at the end of the year. Zucker stated that he wishes he was able to fix NBC's network before leaving, but it had been having rating problems for the past four years. One of the problems was choosing to move The Jay Leno show to an earlier time and then being forced to move it back because of the huge decrease in ratings.
His announcement came only about an hour after Time Warner Inc's CNN said that there U.S. Network Chief, Jonathan Klein, had been replaced. Ken Jautz, from HLN, is moving to take over Klein's place.
It looks like big changes in the networks and hopefully we seem them pull forward in the ratings race!

Is It the End of Lindsay Lohan?
It seems it has been a long time since we saw the then healthy (See above) Lindsay Lohan. Her skin was shiny, hair is beautiful, and she looks healthy. Now we all know that it could just be the make up and lights, but even with makeup and lights, it has been a while since we saw this healthier looking version.
So with all her partying, drug use, and jail time... will we be seeing Lohan on the big screen anytime soon? Experts are saying that it might just be the end of Lohan as we once knew her. It's not that the fans won't stand behind her and still see her movies, but the insurance companies won't insure her, which means no work for Lindsay.
Experts like Los Angeles Criminal Defense Attorney, Mark Geragos state, "She is absolutely uninsurable even if a studio was willing to take the risk and hire her, so in this case, its only time that can heal." He goes on to state that Lohan will have to be "Completely sober for 5 years" before she could be a possibility for insurance. Other experts like Pop Culture expert Peter Shankman, Lohan will be lucky to "be alive in 10 years" at the rate she is going. Let's hope that is not true. But we have gone from seeing the girl above to the girl below.
Let's hope she cleans up her act!

Lindsay Lohan was released late Friday night from jail only a few hours after the judge sent her straight there without bail to be held until her probation revocation hearing a few weeks away. The judges decision was overturned and Lohan posted $300,000 in bail and was released Friday night.
Lohan is now required to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet and is not allowed to go near any establishments or stores that sell primarily alcohol.
Lohan's father, Michael Lohan, told CNN that he hopes her lawyer tells her the right thing to do, which is check into rehab, so that when she returns to court in 30 days the judge will see she is serious. The question is will she agree?
She has been in jail twice now and we hope she doesn't add a third trip any time soon. Her hearing is set for October 22nd in Los Angeles.

Glee Season 2, Episode 1: Audition

Yes ladies and gentle-gleeks the time has FINALLY come. Glee’s second season premiered this past Tuesday, and talk about coming in with a bang, or in this case, a slushy to the face.
We make our return with a fun round of interviews from Jacob’s Glee Blog. Speculation arises that Tina and Mike Chang are dating, Puck has gone under the knife for the big snip, the world wants Mr. Schu to stop rapping, and Kurt takes a cold one outside the boy’s room. Which leads us all to wonder, why is Kurt now using the men’s bathroom?
New Directions is looking for new members after Matt transfers to another school. Sue’s list for Cheerios tryouts is as thick as Moby Dick, while Will’s list is blank as Brittany’s mind. But both are in the same boat when they find out their budgets are being cut and given to the football team and their new coach Mr. I mean Ms. Shannon Beiste. (Pronounced Beast, and that he, I mean she is) So the search starts for new members to help the club get to Nationals, which are in New York this year.
First musical number? None other than New York, preformed in the outside lunch yard while the kids all dress in matching shirts. During this performance Rachel notices a girl singing along, while Finn sees a guy tapping his foot to the beat. Of course at the end of the song nothing happens, and no one pays them any attention. Will is upset when someone defaces the set list, that someone being Sue, who convinces him that they need to team up and conquer Beiste.
Finn hangs posters for Glee in the locker room, and comes upon the toe-tapping guy in the shower, a la Finn from season one. Rachel runs into the singing girl in the bathroom, who happens to be a foreign exchange student named Sunshine (Singer Charice). Rachel tries to convince her to audition and be a background prop for her. The conversation turns into a sing off to Lady Gaga and Beyonce’s Telephone, only to be interrupted by Sue. Sunshine wants to join, but Rachel is hesitant now that she hears how good Sunshine is. Will and Sue play a joke on Beiste by ordering 25 pizzas in her name, just as she cuts everyone on the football team, telling them they all have to earn their spot. Artie wants Finn to help him try out for football in hopes it will win Tina back. We FINALLY get more screen time for Mike Chang. The Changster is dating Tina after they spent the summer together at Asian Camp, and he wowed her with his umm, dancing. Okay, so it was the abs. Fully the abs. Artie and Finn decide to pitch the idea as a human cannon ball, as long as Artie helps Finn recruit Sam (Chord Overstreet) to Glee club. The guys all get together in the Choir room for an amazing rendition of Billionaire by Travie McCoy. (In all honesty I don’t even like they song, but when Chord sings it, well, now it’s on my like list)
Rachel decides to sabotage Sunshine by paying jocks to slushy Kurt, Mercedes and her in front of the girl to terrify her into not joining. When that doesn’t work she gives her false directions to the audition. Sue and Will put operation “Mean Girl” into effect and make sure Beiste has nowhere to sit in the staff room. And at this point, even though you’re mad that she’s taken the money from the Glee club, you can’t help but feel bad for the big lady. As she applies more lipstick and cries, the football team enters the locker room and Finn and Artie propose their idea. Angered beyond belief she kicks Finn off the team, thinking they are trying to make a fool of her. New hottie Sam watches as it all goes down, and you can’t help but realize Puck was right; he has a very large mouth…
Cheerios Tryouts are up next and Quinn is the first on the list. She basically blackmails Sue into letting her back on the squad by bribing her with confetti cannons. Up next to try out is Finn, and it isn’t exactly easy to watch. His dancing even made me feel embarrassed. Sue has a look on her face that let’s you know she hasn’t fully decided against putting him on the squad, and only time will tell what comes out of it. Santana is in the hot seat when Sue finds out she got a boob job, thus causing her to loose her spot as head cheerleader, only to be replaced by Quinn and pushed to the bottom of the pyramid. And Quinn is BACK! Her and Santana get into it in the hall as Brittany watches and Mr. Schu steps in to stop it.
And it’s audition day, and no one shows up, which means no one to replace Matt. Brittany claims sexual harassment from Ms. Beiste, at the pushing of Sue. Will comes in just in time to stop the craziness, and it turns out it was all a lie, though Brittany does express the desire for a squeeze on the old Beiste. The club finds out through the Asian community that Rachel sent Sunshine to a non-active crack house. Rachel apologizes and makes up for it by setting up a real audition. Sunshine auditions with an outstanding version of Listen from Dream Girls. Thus pumping up the entire Glee club at the new addition to their group, well everyone but Rachel.
Will goes to Beiste and apologizes, as Sue tries to give them dog crap cookies. Once the alliance is over it sends Sue into another one of her student pushing fits. Finn confronts Sam about missing out on the audition, and it seems like he’s still too scared to join Glee, and he also reveals he has taken Finn’s position as quarterback. Sunshine has gone to the dark side and joined Vocal Adrenaline thanks to a call from Sue, and the animosity from Rachel. The rest of the club is mad at Rachel for hurting their chances to win, so she sings her sorry in the form of What I Did For Love, claiming it was all for them, even though Finn knows it was all for herself. Artie watches as Tina and Mike dance, Quinn works with Sue as Santana looks at her from the bottom of the pyramid and the Glee kids all get hang out while Rachel looks in on them.
And that wraps up the first episode of the new season, and it was well worth the wait.
Next Week on Glee: Britney/Brittany:
When Brittany and the gang try to convince Mr. Schuester to let them do a Britney Spears number, he is reluctant to go that edgy. Meanwhile, an insecure Will is curious about Emma's new beau, Dr. Carl Howell, so he convinces her to bring him in to talk to the kids about dental hygiene. While the dreamy doc inspires the girls to take their dental health more seriously, Will is left feeling worse than before. (Summary from imdb.com)

Hellcats RECAP
Hellcats was full of drama this week! Marti starts out the episode being late for her law class again and gets scolded for not being "serious" enough. Although her professor throws a chance of working a real case with him and she instantly jumps at it. He gives her a chance with a case to look up and write about. In the mean time, Alice is trying to prove that Marti is uneeded. So she goes to Lewis's arch nemesis and gets drugs... bad ones. This will allow her to practice on her bum wrist and still work through the pain. Lewis knows this and warns her that she should avoid him at all costs. But before he got a chance to do that he got in a fight at a bar while pushing said drug dealer (That is what we shall call him) and then Savannah, who was on a date with Jake, got shoved causing Jake to jump in. In the end, all three of them got arrested.
The new coach, Red, gets his boy (drug dealer) out of trouble in which Jake and Lewis are left behind bars. Lewis is afraid of losing his scholarship while Jake is afraid his dad is going to kill him. Marti pulls a few strings, and gets her professor to go to the jail and be a hard ass and gets the boys out of jail free. No records! Thank you Marti!
Savannah and Jake seem to have hit it off, Lewis seems to have a little thing for Marti which pisses Alice off, and things seem to be going well for Marti in class as she gets the job to assist her professor with his case. SO we shall see how next week goes for the gang at Lancer. Lets hope a little better than this week.

The Event Series Premiere
The Event premiered Monday night, September 20th at 9 pm EST on NBC. Viewers and critics were speculating whether this show was going to be as big as the network was making it seem.
The first episode was kind of all over the place and a little confusing at the beginning. It kept jumping from current time, to 8 days prior, to 13 months prior. It centered on Sean Walker, who was going out on a cruise with his girlfriend, Leila Buchanan. After losing the chance to propose because he had to save some girl that fell in the water, they made two friends Vicky Wallace and Greg Kervin. Something tells me that these two aren't just random people on a cruise, because after Sean goes snorkling with Vicky (Greg is in a cast and Leila had drank too much) he gets back to the cruise and his key doesn't work. When he tries to get a new one he is told that him or his girl are registered on the cruise and then bolts from security after finding out that her cell phone was disconnected.
In between all this happening, we keep getting flashes to Sean on an airplane with CIA agents chasing him. The CIA has also tried to stop the plane from taking off by calling in a bomb threat. Both failed miserably. Sean charges to the front of the plane where he tries to get into the cockpit, yelling at Michael Buchanan (Leila's dad) who is the pilot. After a U.S. Marshal disarms Sean, they hear gunshots from the cockpit and try to get in, while Sean is screaming at him via the phone to "not do it. We will find her." Apparently they are both in search of the missing Leila.
On another flash, the president is made aware of some big CIA plot and checks it out, where he talks with Sophia McGuire, who apparently keeps secrets from the President himself. Just as they are about to do a press conference, that plane that Leila's dad, Michael, is flying comes charging at the place where the conference is taking place. Just as it is about to slam into half the United States Office and guests, it disappears into a huge blue ball. So where did it go? Why is Michael Buchanan trying to kill the President? Where did Leila disappear to? How are Vicky and Greg involved (Cuz we know they are)? And in general... what the hell is going on?
Personally, we can't wait to see what comes up next on this hit show that mixes Lost with 24 and FlashForward. It should be a good season.

American Idol judges confirmed...
Well we weren't too far off and now it's official...Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler will join Randy Jackson on the desk for the 2010 Idol season.
After months of rumors as to who was going to replace Ellen, Simon and Kara, including Jessica Simpson and Bret Michaels, master of ceremonies Ryan Seacrest announced that the pop princess and old school rocker will become a part the show for it's 11th season.
Steven wants to "bring some rock to this roller coaster and show you that if you got the heart, you got the talent and you got the feeling to do this, you could be the next American Idol." whilst Jenny from the Block is "looking for the next Michael Jackson".
These two seasoned professionals should bring some fresh ideas and perspective and hopefully make for some good viewing.

Blair and Serena are still in Paris, and Serena still hasn't decided between Nate and Dan. While discussing Serena's predicament, it comes out that Blair was given another chance with the Prince. After Blair leaves, Serena gets a call from Lily asking her to go to the morgue to identify a body that washed up on shore with Chuck's ID. Serena went to the morgue, and the body was not Chuck's. When she got home, she told Blair where she had been; and Blair said she knew it couldn't be Chuck because she saw him on the street while she was out. Serena decides that she needs to find Chuck and make sure that all is alright, and Blair, again, wants nothing to do with him. As Serena is searching for Chuck she comes across Balenciaga's Uncle's place, where she is told that he knows of no Chuck, but rather of Henry. After Serena goes to the apartment that Chuck is residing in and talks to him, Chuck tells Balenciaga that he wants to leave Paris as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Blair is on her date with Prince Louis and she is doing everything in her power to prove to him that money is not the only thing that attracts her to him. He then invites her to a ball, and sends her home to try on all different types of gowns. While she is there, Serena calls again and tries to talk to her about the Chuck situation, but she decided to leave her phone behind along with all memories of Chuck. When the driver comes to get her, he takes her to Harry Winston where she finds a beautiful ring. Lily, on the other hand, just wants to go to the other apartment to turn Jenny's room into a nursery for Milo. Before Lily arrives, Nate puts Juliet's plan into motion by telling Vanessa that Dan still has feelings for her. House RECAP
After what seemed to be a happy ending last season, this season of House started out with a bang. Zoomed
in on a shot of Cuddy and House's hands intertwined was a happy note. But actually... it kept going until House and Cuddy were wrapped in sheets and doing the nasty. They were adorably cute bantering back and forth about overthinking things. House talks Cuddy into staying at the apartment and House does something inconspicously cute and calls the hospital and makes one of his staff, Dr. Chase, take care of slight issue of no neurosurgeon in the hospital, which could cause it to shut down.
Back at the apartment, House and Cuddy took a bath, cuddled, had sex, cuddled some more, played word games, more sex, and ate breakfast. Wilson made an appearance while crawling through the window because he thought that House had hurt himself or relapsed after losing his patient. Turns out Wilson still things that House relapsed when House told him Cuddy was his girlfriend and in the bedroom, when they both went in and she wasn't there. The two later professed their love for each other and decided to give it a go even though House had serious doubts about it working out.
During all the lovey dovey action, Chase, Foreman, Thirteen, and Taub were at the hospital trying to pick out a new client when the only neurosurgeon in the area falls ill. They go to get him back before the ER gets closed down. They thought they got him better but he started hallucination and acting high. The powers that be decide to shut the hospital down. Just as they are about to ship all the guests to other hospitals, Thirteen figures out the illness... the guy ate Tadpole eggs and fell ill. They fix him and the ER is back on solid ground.
Among all of this, Thirteen was taking a leave of absense and going to Rome, in which all the team found out by snooping. She explains about a study going on over there in which Foreman does not agree with and is scared. He offers to go with her, but she doesn't accept. In the end, the team walks in on Foreman who says he called the hospital in Rome, and that thirteen was not registered, no record of her was found, and all her numbers had been disconnected.... What does that mean? Has she gone off to die? Live fast and die young was her motto.... we shall see. Tune in next week!

Justin Bieber Caught Making Out on Camera

Who would have ever thought that Justin Bieber really was just a 16 year old boy? Photos were released today of the teen in the back seat of a Honda in Venice, CA from earlier this month.
Bieber is said to be dating the co-star of his "Baby" video, Jasmine Villegas, also 16. It appears that the couple have been together for a few months now, despite telling reporters that they were just "really cool friends." Villegas is also the opening act on Bieber's current tour, so the duo are definitely spending a lot of time together.
As I am writing this article, I do believe that I am hearing the screams of young girls everywhere as their hearts are breaking. Is it really that big of a deal to see a 16 year old boy making out with his girlfriend in the backseat of a car?

Paris Hilton Pleads Guilty
Paris Hilton avoided jail time this time around as she pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charge of cocaine possession from a trip last month in Las Vegas. The heiress acknowledged the fact that she did have cocaine in her purse and lied to the police about it. Due to her... "fessing up"... Hilton was one year of probation, mandatory drug abuse program, a $2000 fine, and 200 hours of community service.
Let's hope this is the last time that we see this starlett behind bars as well. Jail time seems to be in the water for Hollywoods biggest names lately.

Lindsay Lohan Headed Back to Jail?
Apparently jail was not enough the first time for this Hollywood actress. Lohan has been ordered to appear in court this coming Friday to talk to the judge about her two failed drug tests since being released from rehab. Lohan was previously sentenced to 90 days in jail and 90 days in rehab, but only served a portion of the time, as most celebrities do.
Last time, Lohan was told she had to serve time and was given a little bit of free time to wrap up anything she had going. This time, if the judge sends her to jail, sources say that she may have to start paying her debt to society instantly following her court appearance.
Judge Elden Fox, who Lohan will be seen in front of on Friday, previously told Lohan that she would have to serve 30 days is prison, yes I said prison, for each violation. We will have to wait until Friday to see what the judge decides, and hope that Lohan listens this time.

Russell Brand Arrested

Now you probably heard over the weekend that Russell Brand was arrested. Funny part about it is that it was a totally noble way of being locked up. He was protecting his lady. Reports say that Brand and fiance Katy Perry were strolling through the airport security when one of the papparazzi tried to put his lense up Perry's skirt. Brand, being the loyal, loving, protective man he is, didn't hesitate.
Brand was locked up and booked for misdemeanor battery. Perry tweeted shortly afterwards, "If you cross the line & try and put a lens up my dress, my fiance will do his job and protect me."
We doubt that Brand will get much of a punishment, because we aren't sure what kind of judge or jury would side with someone sticking camera's up dresses... but we shall see!

Kim Kardashian... Another One Bites The Dust!
It seems to be official... Kim Kardashian is moving on from another man. Reports are stating that Kardashian and boy toy, Austin Miles, who plays for the Dallas Cowboys, have called it quits. Apparently the split was mutual and was caused because of the distance between them. Miles is currently in season, while Kardashian is as well, just on her show instead of on the field.
Let's hope that Miles didn't just lose his good luck charm, although Dallas did lose to Chicago today.

Life Unexpected Recap 9/14
Last season left off with Baze bursting into the church to stop Kate and Ryan's wedding; however, he was too late and walked in just in time to see Kate kiss Ryan as they became husband and wife. We also saw Kate and Baze get custody of their daughter, Luxe. This season starts off with Kate and Ryan returning from their honeymoon in Vegas, having taken Luxe along with them. Right when they are about to "celebrate" alone, they get a call from the radio station, telling them to come in right away. When they arrive, they are introduced to their newest co-host, Kelly Campbell. Needless to say, Kate is less than thrilled about the newest edition to Morning Madness, and she is not afraid to let everyone know how she feels about it.
Meanwhile, Luxe has gone to see Bug after not seeing him for the two weeks she was gone. After they've been re-acquainted, Luxe starts talking about how she is happy to be a part of a family. Bug then chooses this moment to propose to Luxe. Having been totally taken by surprise, she says yes, but we know hat is not exactly what she had in mind.
After they get home from the station, Baze is waiting at the house to talk to Kate. Ryan is less than happy about this, and Cate know it; so she decides to meet up with Baze at the park. During their meeting, Baze finally admits that he loves Kate, and she says that she knows, but it doesn't change anything. She married Ryan, and that is who she loves. Kate also took it upon herself to let Baze know that Luxe was the one that told her to marry Ryan, and that he needs to try and fix his relationship with her first.
After leaving Bug's place, Luxe heads to the bar to talk to Baze, only he isn't there. She decides to wait for him there, and starts "working" behind the bar. A customer, Eric, comes in and starts up a conversation with Luxe. They end up talking all afternoon, and then decide to go to the beach to help Luxe make up her mind about Bug. She's never been before, and it is just one of the things in life that she has yet to experience. Eric thinks that she should experience life before she decides to settle down. They have a moment once they get to the "beach," which turns out to be a billboard on the side of the road because they ran out of gas.
The guys hire a new bartender, and her name is Paige. She and Baze get drunk and end up hooking up. When she leaves in the morning, she lights up a smoke and then trashes it in the garbage. Baze gets woken up by the fire alarm, to discover that the bar is on fire downstairs. The guys, Baze, Jaimie, and Math, have to evacuate because there is already to big of a fire to do anything about it. Baze calls Kate trying to find Luxe, but Kate is in the middle of a horrendous radio show. When they finally connect, it comes out that Luxe lied and said she was staying at the other parent's place. Baze and Kate think that there is achance that she may still be upstairs, so he runs back in to try and find her. Kate abruptly leaves the station in a rush to try and find out where Luxe is.
Everyone is at the hospital waiting to see what the prognosis is for Baze. He suffered from smoke inhalation and a number of second degree burns, but he is going to be alright. Kate is the first one to go in and see him and they have a heart to heart. Baze apologizes for saying what he said in the park and so does Kate. They also realize that there will always be something between them, but the can never again act on it. Bug shows up at the hospital, and Luxe tells him that she is only 16; and just not ready to get married yet. She still wants to live her life. He takes the ring and leaves.
When Kate heads back to the station to get her things, she is let go from her job. Luxe finally gets a chance to see Baze when he comes to pick her up for school the next day, and he says that he wants to fix it all. He wants to fix his life the way he is going to fix up the bar, from the ground up. He also lets Luxe know that Bug is gone, and not coming back. During a break from the radio show, Ryan gets a call from Julia. We don't know who she is or what she has to do with the storyline, but apparently something happened between her and Ryan while he and Kate were broken up. When Kate is about to settle down for the day, there is a knock at the door. It's Paige. Paige is Ryan's sister.
The best surprise of the night was when Math introduced Luxe to the newest teacher at the school...Eric. This season is going to be that much better than the first one, and I can't wait to see how all of the secrets unfold.
