Eclipse breaks box office numbers with midnight showing
Summit Entertainment has done it again! Everyone thought New Moon was huge as it made $26.3 million dollars on its midnight showing alone, but Eclipse has beat that. Numbers are flowing in, but according to Box Office Mojo, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has banked over $30 million dollars in its midnight showing alone, breaking all records before.
Fans piled in to over 4,000 theaters, which is also another record breaking number, and they were not disappointed. The test is on to see if the fans can keep up the momentum long enough to have it break weekend numbers, which might be a struggle with the movie opening on a Wednesday. Hopefully fans will pile back into the theaters this weekend to help boost that number. Also looking to be broken, is the record of a Wednesday through Sunday show. Do we think it will happen? With the craze of Eclipse fresh in everyone's mind and the movie having blown so many away already... we think it's a good possibility.
So get your tickets and go for round 2!

MJ tributes....
One year on from the tragic death of 'The King of Pop' Michael Jackson, numerous tributes were paid over the weekend including:
Chris Brown, in what is sure to become a You-Tube favourite, performed a medley of MJ songs and broke down during 'Man in the Mirror' at the 2010 BET Awards. Other songs in the medley included 'Remember the Time' (a great filmclip starring Eddie Murphy, Iman & NBA legend Magic Johnson) and the AWESOME 'Billy Jean'.

At the Forever Michael Memorial, held at the Beverly Hilton the day before, 80's child star Corey Feldman (for those of you who haven't seen 'The Lost Boys' go and see it NOW!!) paid tribute to his friend "Michael and I were friends, really close friends for about 18 years... (but) it was eight years before he passed away that we didn't speak; we had a bit of a falling out...Michael made efforts to reach out to me during that period of time... I did not. I was holding firm..what I learned is that forgiveness is the most important thing in this world...so I'm taking that opportunity right now, to say, 'Michael, I forgive you, I hope you forgive me and I love you."
Michael, your music will live on.
Megan & Brian make it official...
After 6 years of an on-again off-again tabloid heaven relationship, tattooed couple Megan Fox and Brian Green have made it official, tying the knot in Hawaii last week in what was described as a 'spur of the moment' wedding.
The infamous couple had only just confirmed they were engaged again at the start of the month and Hawaiian press reports stated that Megan had lost her ring on the beach only 2 days before the ceremony.
Brian, 36, is best known for being a part of the 90's 3 name craze when he went by Brian Austin Green and for playing David Silver on the original 90210 (that theme music is still one of the best in my opinion - love it) and of course Megan Fox, 24, graced our screens in Transformers 1&2 and the recent horror movies Jennifer's Body and Jonah Hex.
Lets hope they manage to buck the 'Hollywood marriage' trend. Cheers!!

We have waited for a long time for the next and final installment of the Harry Potter Series to hit the big screen, and oh boy has it. The much anticipated finale is coming up soon, in November of 2010 with the second part being shown in July of 2011. And its even going to add to the 3D family. Can you imagine Harry, Ron, and Hermione practically jumping off the screen at you as they fight off Voldemort and his army? It gives us chills just thinking about it. Kat Graham - the next triple threat...
This 21yr old is sure making the most of her time with 5 movies currently in some degree of completion. I can only imagine she is running out of spare time!

GLASTONBURY...
What is widely considered to be the best music festival in the UK, Glastonbury (located in the south of England) is on again this weekend, celebrating 40yrs of fun, and whilst it's touted for the amazing artists that perform, its also become very well known as one of the messiest & wettest music festivals in the world - in 2005 they had 2 months worth of rain in a few hours and it flooded the ENTIRE location where tens of thousand revelers were camped out!
I bet punters were very excited to hear that there is not a lot of rainfall predicted this year so they can get on with the job of getting down to acts like Muse, Dizzee Rascal, Snoop Dogg, Florence & The Machine, Empire of the Sun (amazing Aussies - check them out), MGMT (one of Ashleigh's FAVORITE bands) and old skool classic artists Stevie Wonder and The Pet Shop Boys.....man, no wonder over 170,000 (yes, you read right) cool kids make the pilgrimage every year. In 1970 the original festival was only attended by 1,500 people, they paid one pound ($1.50) and were given free milk from Worthy Farm (the festival location).

Tiffany vs. Debbie Gibson...
It's like my childhood all over again... Ok no judging me and NO counting how old I am!! But yes, I was a HUGE Tiffany fan and I will admit to also having a few Debbie Gibson tapes.. Well the two have now been cast in a movie as rivals...
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Yes, they will fight. The network promises an epic battle between the former teen pop idols, who will star in “Mega Python vs. Gatoroid.”..... Interesting... I wonder who would win between Tiffany and Debbie...

Paget Brewster & AJ Cook to return to Criminal Minds
It was a huge shocker to fans of the hit CBS show "Criminal Minds" when the announcement came that AJ Cook, who plays J.J., would not be returning for the next season. If that didn't shock fans enough, news that Paget Brewster who plays Emily would be getting "reduced screen time" in the next season as well. After the initial shock wore off, fans began to protest. A petition started circulating the web. The petition, which is titled "Keep AJ Cook & Paget Brewster on Criminal Minds"quickly grew. It is currently setting at 42,325 signatures and is growing constantly.Well, it appears that the petition worked, at least a little bit. AJ Cook will be returning for 2 episodes to finalize her character. She recently posted on her twitter page, "Thanks for your undying support but it's a done deal.I'll be doing 2eps to wrap up JJ.Excited for what's next and hope you'll come along!XO". We all wonder if "wrapping up the character" will be that she dies in one of their many encounters with the angry, upset, and just plain crazy bad guys they cross, or if she will just "leave" the department. We shall have to wait to see.
On another high note, Paget Brewster will also be returning to the show, but according to her own twitter, only for another year. She posted, just today, "So how do I thank 42,309 people.. It worked. Thank you, everyone. Thank you for helping and supporting me and AJ. Thank you for everything!" and then followed it up with "PS- I should clarify. I am immensely grateful. I'm still angry about AJ. I'm sad this is my last year. But I wanted to thank the fans..." Does this mean we should start a petition for her for next year. No news had come that this would be Paget's last year, but it seems confirmed. Even though sources state she is coming back with a significant amount of appearances, it won't do anything to dim the ache in our heart as we know her exit is soon approaching.
The exit of these two ladies leaves us only with Kirsten Vangsness, who plays Penelope Garcia, computer genius, on the show. Some fans think its a hint at male dominance in the "cop show" drama's, but we shall never really know. Financial decisions or creative decisions matters little as these two ladies will be missed amongst the Criminal Minds fans. Continue signing those petitions and maybe they will still change their minds. It's never over.

The Twilight Trifecta do EW...AGAIN...
Surprise, Surprise.... Kristen, Robert and Taylor do the cover of EW again... This time I am really diggin' the Tay/Rob cover!! I mean besides the obvious, they looking like they like each other!! And Kristen Stewart looking really girly and pretty!! Its nice to see these bruiting characters laughing and having a all around good time!!

The Stars of the Twilight Saga Step Out in Style...
The Stars of the HIGHLY anticipated Twilight Saga: Eclipse stepped out in MEGA style at the Eclipse Premiere's Black Carpet. Everyone from the movie was looking amazing, they all clean up so nicely!
Of course the Twilight Trifecta was looking smashing as always!! I love that Rob and Taylor choose to wear different suits. Robert Pattinson was looking smexy in a maroon vintage suit and Taylor Lautner was looking dashing and daring in his classic black suit. Kristen Stewart was perfection in her white on sleeve dress and she got to be right in the middle of a hotness sandwich... How do I get that job??
Newcomer Bryce Dallas Howard looking AMAZING in this yellow Dior dress. At first I know there was a lot of controversy over whether or not Howard would be able to fill the shoes of Rachelle Lafevre, but to honest, from the clips i've seen I think Howard might make a really good Victoria! And she looking just amazing at the premiere, so thats a good start!

It turned out a lot more like a Artists on Demand Guest reunion, we saw a BLONDE Justin Chon, Daniel Cudmore looking tall, dark and handsome, Charlie Bewley looking smexy as always, Julia Jones glamed up and looking like hollywood royalty, Tinsel Korey looking amazing, Gil Birmingham keeping all the boys in the puppy pack together, Tyson Houseman rocking a black suit, Cameron Bright also managed to make it after flying in the morning of, Jodelle Ferland was super cute and not all scary, Boo Boo & Fivel Stewart were looking ever so cute and of course we did miss Chaske Spencer and Leah Gibson who are currently doing the Twilight Conventions in the land down under!

The City RECAP
The City was filled with excitement this week. Whitney was sent off to a Fashion Market by Kelly, where buyers gathered to buy her line. Fifteen hundred buyers if I heard correctly. I must say, Roxie has definitely stepped up and surprised us all. She is very good at what she does and very convincing.Whitney has a great turnout as buyers stop in. Buyer's from New York's "Wink" stops by and decides they love it, but they need to discuss numbers and such in the office. Another buyer stops in and picks a very large order that they write up and the buyer signs before leaving. So Whitney goes through the trouble of getting the order together. Then drama hits... Kelly calls Roxy and Whit over to tell them that the buyer with the large order canceled. Whitney has her first ever total meltdown. She starts yelling at Roxy and even mouths off a little to Kelly who tells her "Welcome to the business. Eat the cost and move on." Whitney walks off over stressed over the excess merchandise laying around and Kelly assures Roxy that when she see's Whit act that way, it is simply her stressing because she knows it's all on the line and she could lose everything with one mistake.
Roxy decides to help a friend out and heads over to the "Wink" offices where she ends up selling a bunch of dresses and even some of that excess inventory and assures "Wink" they can get it over there asap from their office in NY. Then she surprises Whitney by taking her to "Wink" where Whitney's clothes are hanging in the window. YAY for Roxy and Whit is happy all over again!
Over at Elle, drama is unfolding. Olivia picks out some amazing clothes for the Kesha shoot after going to a "Trash" store and trying on some boots very un-Olivia like. She is also making friends with the new Elle Online girl and even goes to accuse Erin that she is assuming that she didn't come up with the idea for the cute shoes! AND... tells Erin that her idea to get rid of her is not working. WOW! That takes guts. Love it! Tune in next week for even more drama!
The Hills RECAP
There is always drama in the hills. The last few episodes have been a lot of K.Cav and Brody love. Kristin got jealous a few epi's back when Brody had a girl... Makayla, who turned out to be a tad bit on the crazy side. She pretends to not want drama, but then she brings Allie Lutz around. (Any relation to the smokin' Kellan Lutz?) Either way, Brody seems awful fond of Kristin even though he states he doesn't want a relationship. Always holding hands, kissing, his arm around her, her playful swats... and so forth. Either way, this episode was full of that love fest again. Drama hit as the gang (Brody, Frankie, Kristin, Audrina, Stephanie, Lo, and many many more) go to MyHouse in Los Angeles to hang out and party. Makayla shows up with Allie, who decides its a good idea to go over to Kristen and ask what her problem is. (I'm putting $50 down on Kristen.) In the end, they all leave after deciding that the boys... and girls... will be making a trip to Costa Rica the following week.
On another drama area of The Hills, Audrina calls it off with Ryan Cabrerra after last weeks very dramatic crying at his concert. (Poor Audrina) Ryan decides he is not done with her and proceeds to text... and text.... oh and did I say text... telling her she doesn't know what she is doing and they can work it out. (A little over the top dude!) In the meantime, it's Audrina's birthday and they all go out on a sail boat, where Justin Bobby shows up to celebrate with everyone and also told Kristen that he would "always have love for Audrina". Awwwwww.... JB is quickly winning me over. And I love the hair cut.
So the drama ended for the night, but next week looks crazy. It appears that Brody is going to play jealous boyfriend after Kristen brings a date to dinner in Costa Rica. But it doesn't appear that Brody has the right... he does say "Your like a sister to me." To Kristen. Harsh! We shall see how it all unfolds on Tuesday night on MTV. Until then... Surgery Hugs (Ok... so we miss Heidi a little).

Kelli Pickler is Gettin' HITCHED...
He propsed on June 15, a date Pickler describes as “sad and hard” because it’s her late grandmother’s birthday. Faye Pickler raised the songstress after her mother left and her father landed in jail.
The proposal was “the most amazing day of my life,” Pickler tells People. “My whole world changed. We both feel like we got my grandmother’s blessing.”
The couple met through some friends about two years ago. Congrats guys!! We couldn't be happier for you!
Kellie Pickler is ready to plan her wedding, and hey if she needs help fellow American Idol and engaged herself, Carrie Underwood can always help her!!

You can't doubt the dedication of the fans of the Twilight Saga movies with a designated area being set up as a mini-tent city for people to camp out in anticipation of the premier of the 3rd movie 'Eclipse' on 24 June.Tents are to be no bigger than 4ft x 4ft, wristbands must be worn, a giant screen plays Eclipse previews to the crowd and there is no alcohol allowed within the fenced area which will, in it's entirety, be packed up and moved to make way for the red carpet at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
Tinsel Korey (Emily) tweeted today about it "I wanted to visit TwiTent City today, but it just got so hectic & I was working on a new project. Going 2 try 4 tomorrow morn. True Blood Season 3... Beautifully Broken... RECAP...
Sookie is still on the hunt for her recently vamp-napped (It's a word... I think!) I like it! boyfriend Bill Compton! Silly werewolves have him, and he kicks some were bootie and breaks free from his captors when Russell Edgington, King of Mississippi, who rides in on a white horse... I thought that animals were scared of vampires... Just sayin'... Anyhow Russell takes Bill back to his mega house where we get to meet the fabulous (and former Artists on Demand Guest) Talbot, played by Theo Alexander. And boy is he hot... and VERY flamboyant. They wine and dine I'm favoring the bloody ice cream personally! Bill and offer him the post of Sheriff for Area 2. All because Russell wants to marry the Queen of Louisiana... interesting...
Next stop on our trip through last night's ep is Tara and her FAILED attempt to kill herself... I gotta say Lafayette is fast becoming one of the my favorite cast members!! Lafayette takes Tara on a little road trip to see his racist mother in a psychiatric facility!! There is a lot of crazy in their family, and Lafayette is afraid that Tara will end up like Lafayette's mother. It seems all is well until Tara runs into a new vampire... Me thinks he will be taking advantage of her soon... BUT he does help her out and help her to kick some white trash butt!! I do love Lafayette. He's my fav gay... so far on this show. But I understand there might be some more gays on the way!
We now head over to Sam's story line... He's been stalking his biological parents and last night he found them... Not sure yet if this is a good thing or a bad thing... Yeah, but what's with the gun to the head. I'm not sure the brother likes him too much.
Jason and Andy are BFF's for EVA!! Although Jason is a little jealous that Andy is looking like the hero... Jason gets his own hero action when Andy makes a police stop on the way to take Jason home, and Jason takes down a meth dealer!! WIN WIN FOR JASON... And boy was he happy about it! He looked like a kid in a candy store! This is also where we get our first glimpse of Crystal Norris (played by Lindsay Pulsipher, another former Artists on Demand guest)...
Now to the final scene.... Eric is at Sookies to "keep her safe" and maybe offer some sexual favors... After some time of banter back and forth, Eric whips out the fangs and lays down the lay, forcing Sookie to invite him in... WHY you ask??? Because there is a WEREWOLF in HER HOUSE!! O.M.G. Him swearing is hot... and he's just hot anyway. LOL!
It was a non stop action episode and I have to say the one downfall of HBO is no commercials, which means no potty breaks!! I happen to like the lack of commericals!
