Stars go back to school...

Imagine sitting in your classroom, or shakin your thang at your prom, only to be interrupted by a super famous celebrity? 3 schools have recently had the pleasure of hosting international superstars Demi Lovato, Katy Perry & Johnny Depp.

You'd be kicking yourself if you pretended to be sick that day wouldn't you??

First off, newly light haired Disney sweetheart Demi Lovato visited Grape Street Elementary in LA to gift them $1,000 worth of OfficeMax school supplies as an ambassador of the 'A Day Made Better' charity and performed to the entire school as well. "...teachers are actually paying for a lot of the supplies out of their own pocket...my mom home schooled me, so we actually paid for a lot of supplies too. We know what it's like..."

A few months ago, you may have heard that Katy Perry popped into a high school prom (known as a 'formal' in Australia) whilst promoting 'Teenage Dream' in Melbourne, Australia. Her visit was totally unplanned and unannounced but it didn't take long for the star struck teens to recognize one of the most famous faces in music. What did seem weird was that Jordan, the guy she ended up spending most of the 15mins with, asked if she knew the 'single ladies' dance...and then had them attempt the dance as its apparently 'a good thing to pull out at a party' See the Australian Channel 10 News cast here

and, saving the best for last...one of the sexiest men alive, Johnny Depp took it upon himself to assist a young UK pirate with her mutiny.
Captain Jack Sparrow,
At Meridian on Old Woolwich Road we are all a bunch of budding young pirates. Normally we're a right handful but we're having trouble mutinying against the teachers!
We'd love it if you could come and help!

P.S. We have a plentiful supply of rum!

Depp was filming the 4th installation of Pirate's franchise nearby and decided (at very short notice) to drop everything and make a little girl's dreams come true. He even managed to get some other pirates to assist with the visit. Can you imagine being in class and having THE Captain Jack stroll in, in full pirate gear with a couple of and having them spend 15 minutes with your class before saying "gave me a hug. Maybe we shouldn't mutiny today 'cos there are police outside monitoring me." I WISH!

Watch this video and try and deny that he's one of the nicest guys in showbiz!
