So I have seriously been slacking in my Season 6 Weeds updates. Fortunately I found out last night that I have another whole week before a new episode which gives me an opportunity to catch everyone up on the misadventures of the Newmans, formally known as the Botwins.
In case you are not caught up I'll give you a little bit of a review of what happened last season. Nancy moved herself and her offspring in with Esteban. Pilar, Esteban's assistant wants Nancy to get rid of Shane & Silas or she will do it for her. Shane overhears this conversation & the season is ended with Shane killing Pilar with a crochet mallet. Yes I know! Having this over my head waiting for the season premier was torture.
With the season 6 premier came the fleeing of the Botwin's after Shane murdered Pilar. Before they get too far Nancy stops to pick up a few choice belongings such as shoes & sex toys. She also gives Uncle Andy the choice of joining them or staying with Audra. Like an idiot he follows Nancy.
The second episode of season 6 brings the Botwin's to a form a new identity, the Newmans. Sylas is given the opportunity to go out on his own since he was not the one who murdered Pilar. They max out all their credit cards and continue to flee.
Catching us up to date is the third episode of the season. The Newman's have established themselves in Seattle. They have jobs in a hotel and continue to remain under the radar. Shane is the only one left without a job, because someone needs to take care of baby Stevie. Nancy continues to make things worse by producing hash in the hotel where she works, laundry room.
