OTH Recap 9/14

The season premier of One Tree Hill opened with a brief recap of what happened in the season finale last year. We found out the Nathan and are expecting again, Julian proposed to Brooke, and Katie broke into and shot both Quinn and Clay.

Shortly after the recap, we see Clay wake up from a dream. Quinn is fine and so is he. They spend the day at the beach relaxing, just enjoying each others company. Right as they are about to head home, Quinn puts on a shirt and then starts to bleed through. Not long after, we see Nathan at the door to the beach house, and realize that the day at the beach was the dream. Katie did shoot Clay and Quinn, and they are just waiting for someone to come find them.

Over at the Scott household, Hayley is still dealing with the death of her mother last season. The baby has given her a reason to get through her depression. Just when we think Jaime couldn't possibly get any cuter, we hear him ask THE question, "Where do babies come from?" I won't go into the whole description here, but just know that there were bunnies, basketball hoops, and bees. It was probably one of the most entertaining explanations I have heard. On the professional front, Nathan is getting ready to leave to go play for the Charlotte Bobcats. He is going to be gone a lot of the time, and this is something that the family is trying to deal with.

Brooke and Julian are still flying high from the engagement, and are just enjoying spending "quality" time together in the bedroom. When Julian wakes up the next morning, he is inundated with massive quantities of Bridal magazines. Brooke is in the process of planning the wedding when Julian tells her that he already has the colors picked out; he wants the wedding to be pink and black to represent the colors that were in Grease 2. Brooke tells him he can keep on dreaming. After Hayley stops by the share her happy news, Brooke gets another visitor. The cops. She is arrested and taken in for accounting fraud; and later comes to find out that it was the doing of her mother, Victoria.

In other news, Mia comes back to town to try to work things out with Chase only to discover that he is with Alex now. After a few awkward moments between the three, Alex goes to find Mia to apologize. Mia tells her in no uncertain terms that she is a home wrecker, and Alex tells her that she isn't going anywhere.

This season is going to be full of all the drama we have come to love, and I can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

Remember to tune in on Monday, September 20, at 9pm EST to hear our interview with Austin Nichols, who plays Julian.
