MTV Video Music Awards

The much anticipated yearly Video Music Awards started off with... not a red carpet... but a white carpet. And this white carpet was kept sparkly white with big white pieces of plastic that covered it until showtime!

Once everyone made their way inside, the show kicked off with a HUGE performance by Eminem, who did a medley of some of his new work, including the hit song "Love the Way You Lie" with Rihanna. Rihanna... was not the best dressed... more along the lines of a rock star ballerina maybe?

Either way, the performance was amazing and Eminem definitely took his place back at the top of BEST EVER VMA performances. AND he was one of many that sang live... no lip singing here.Rihanna's hair was quite bright too.

A few of the hot looks from the red carpet you ask? Ok... here it is!

Ashley Greene and Audrina Patridge looked amazing in their mini's. Black, white, and silver seemed to be the key to tonight's outfits.

The cast of Jersey Shore were looking amazing, as usual, with their short skirts, tight shirts (and jackets), and spray on tans!

Justin Beiber alongside his mentor, Usher in all black and all ready for their performances on stage during the show. Both were good, although Usher was better. Maybe that's just because he has more experience. I suppose we will have to wait ten years and reconsider that statement.

Lady Gaga looking fantastic as usual in all of her craziness! She even has a mohawk-esque piece on her head. Check back for us to show you some more looks from Gaga in the next few days.

And finally, your host Chelsea Handler, who was amazing and looking it throughout the entire show!

Here are a list of all the winners for your viewing...

That is right ladies and gentlemen. Lady Gaga DOMINATED the Video Music Awards with 8 wins total, 7 of which were for Bad Romance. She killed it and she deserves it. All her little monsters must be proud!

Closing out the night was a performance by the one and only Kanye, who did a great job with just himself, a microphone, some pyrotechnics, and a mixing board. All in all it was a great night and we shall be looking forward to next year!
