Nancy G. Lopez-Ruiz was killed in Ft. Lauderdale on Friday night when her motorcycle was struck from behind and then the drive proceeded to run her over. The drive fled the scene, leaving Lopez-Ruiz to be pronounced dead shortly after.
Lopez-Ruiz was recently hired by Miami Heat to be a dancer, a dream in which she had been working a long time for. Her mother, Adela Lopez was making preparations for her daughters funeral, which will take place Friday.
