This years MTV VMA's have a promising outlook with the likes of Lady Gaga up for 16 awards, Justin Beiber, and many more big names keeping us entertained. MTV announced yesterday, September 9th that the "Real Slim Shady" will be performing the opening performance. This has been a long time in the making as Eminem has not performed on stage LIVE for the VMA's since 2002.
There is no word yet as to what song he will be performing, but by popular vote, the fans seem to be hoping for "Love the Way You Lie", which could mean a possible surprise appearance by Rihanna in that performance.
The MTV VMA's are airing LIVE from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California on September 12th at 9 pm EST. Make sure to tune in for the red carpet and see who is wearing the hottest outfits and who is not!
