GroundScore is the new kid on Washington, DC’s esteemed punk-rock block. The band fuse powerful reggae rhythms and distortion-laden guitars, laid over driving dynamic drum styles which draw you into an infectious dance vibe. Come for the party, and stay for the thoughtful lyrics that meditate on life, friendship, the price of excess, and the state of today's youth. Heavily influenced by the Godfathers of their genre, particularly the Bad Brains and Sublime, the band are building up an impressive fan following through touring and supporting well-known acts such as cult-rockers Clutch.
