Fingers Crossed for Michael Douglas...

This week it has come to light that legendary 65yr old actor Michael Douglas has developed a cancerous tumor in his throat and will be undergoing both chemo and radiation therapy. Doctors are positive that the actor who has starred in classic movies like Basic Instinct, Wall Street, Jewel of the Nile and Fatal Attraction will make a speedy recovery. He
has already had to cancel a guest speaking appearance in Hong Kong and all press for the long awaited sequel - "'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" where he's reprieved his famous role as money grubber and all around dirty business man Gordon Gecko for a new generation.

If the treatment is not successful, he may have to undergo surgery and there is a chance he may lose some of his vocal abilities and therefore have to retire from acting.
