Top Chef is returning... and we are going political! Top Chef is taking place in D.C. this season. It is nice to have a new location, a new judge, and an all star cast.
The all star cast is made up of restaurant owners, sous chef's, world travelers, and all around great chefs, including Lynne Gigliotti who is aiming to be the second female Certified Master Chef in the world. This cast is amazing and should put up quite a good show.
To top it all off... we also welcome a great new host. And who could be better than what we already had? Famous chef Eric Ripert. We have seen him as a guest judge on many of the previous seasons, but now he is taking over that empty seat as an official judge this season. He should make a grand addition. The winning chef will receive $125,000 furnished by Dial Nutriskin, a feature in Food & Wine magazine, a showcase at the Annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen and will earn the title of "Top Chef."
