Glee RECAP

This episode has been much anticipated by the AOD staff because we all heard that Rachel loses her voice. And it appears the previews were correct. Right at the beginning of the show Rachel took the time to have the Glee club recorded and found out that some of the members were stopping singing during group songs and not pulling their weight. Mr. Schuester takes it into his hands and tells everyone to perform a song in front of the entire group that shows who they are.

Que Rachel. Of course she wants to go first. She decides to sing Miley Cyrus' "The Climb". As soon as she started singing... I cringed. She ends up in the doctors office with Finn (Yes I was quite confused), but turns out that Jesse is in San Francisco... err... one of those Sans in California with his Vocal Adrenal cast mates. Rachel finds out she has a wicked case of Tonsilitis and needs her Tonsils removed. Rachel fights it, and the doctor hands her a script for antibiotics. She asks Finn's advice... and he goes off on a tangent about how he is better than Jesse.

Que Finn's performance. An amazing performance of Jesse's Girl. I must say... it was hot. In the meantime, Puck is suffering from the fact that his hawk got chopped off and is trying to hook up with Mercedes because she is the popular new cheerleader. Mercedes is beating him down quite nice. Until he comes in to Glee practice with the Jazz band and sings "Ladies a Tramp" when Mercedes jumps in too. Quinn is fine with their new found romance, but it appears that Santana may not be.

Kurt has decided that he may not be gay after all... or he is just trying to win over his dad's affections after his father took Finn to a ball game. So he gets together with Brittany to make out and gets caught by his father who tells him he is fine with whatever Kurt wants to be.

Santana and Mercedes then go head to head with "The Boys is Mine" before Santana shoves Mercedes. Bout to be a.... GIRL FIGHT!

Finn takes Rachel to see his paralyzed friend... but why? Because he wanted her to see that her voice is not ALL of her. He wanted her to know that if something was to happen to her voice, there is other things she can do. I say Finn wins... I'm team Finn.

Kurt and his dad have a heart to heart about how he was trying so hard, but his dad explains to him that it is him he wants. He wants him to be who he is. And he makes the point of telling him that he will fight to the death for his right to love.

And then a wrap up of Rachel forming a friendship with Finn's paralyzed friend... THE END...
