This is our very first GH recap but I (Nikki) have watched Ghost Hunters since the very first moment of it's existence. Hey... I'm not far behind. I'm the creepy one around here and well, I don't scare easily. She has a point guys... I'd give my left big toe to be on this show myself and find me some ghosts Holy extreme but alas, here I am. Here I'll be until they call me and invite me to be a TAPS member. I miss Steve and Tango in these episodes but they're off filming Ghost Hunters Academy. I agree I agree. They are the comedy relief LOL.
Ghost Hunters is the first paranormal investigation group to get the chance to investigate this creepy hospital. Creepy hospital= understatement of the century. Personally, and this is coming from the resident creepy person in AOD, I find abandoned hospitals slightly intimidating. The place is dilapidated, seriously.
Jay and Grant started out in the Research Building and upon entering the fourth floor Jay spotted a figure moving left to right at the end of the hall. Aside from noises in the stairwell, there was a faint light coming from the same area that could not be explained. All this excitement and I didn't see one bit of it. I really hate when that happens. I didn't see a light either, but oh well. They claimed to have heard moaning; we'll see in the reveal. Of course, they investigate the morgue and being the morbid chick I am, I found this thrilling. They should have gotten into the freezer and chilled for a minute or two. Pun intended. HAHA
So, Britt and KJ investigate the Earle Building next. I heard, with my own ears, a loud bang and that always makes me happy. I love it when things happen and you get instant gratification.Oh me too! That bang was loud too. I would have ran...
Kris and Amy were up in the Research Building next and they went straight for the morgue. Girls, you make me proud. They seemed to be getting the same sounds that Jay and Grant were getting before. They also say the same shadow going back and forth, blocking out the light at the end of the hall. Yes! I love when that happens! I didn't see it... did you see it?
Jason and Grant hit the Powerhouse next, WEAR YOUR MASKS GUYS...Jeez they were traipsing around in who knows what with asbestos and no masks. Talk about dangerous work conditions! Any who, again with the weird sounds but this time it was more like voices. Can I say, Jay's beanie hat is cute. In the tunnels both guys saw a shadow about three feet tall that just moved off and disappeared. I wonder how they see these things in the pitch black... Uh yeah! Shadows are dark... and its dark. I don't get it.
And...Britt and KJ hit the morgue. Still, I'm excited over this. No one gets into the drawers though. Damn. KJ passed a doorway and had the feeling that someone was standing in the doorway looking at him but nothing turns up. Guess what happens next? You got it, Britt and KJ see the shadow moving back and forth at the end of the hall. Coincidence? I think not! That shadow is getting a workout! They tiptoe toward this shadow and check to make sure no one is screwing with them. There was nothing there.
Jay and Grant investigate the Salmon Building next. This place is full of sounds. Every building they've hit tonight was full of moaning and even weirder, hospital sounds. What is a hospital sound? Creaking beds? Kris and Amy venture into the tunnels, with no masks...I fear for your lungs ladies. They stumbled upon an unknown building that just felt creepy from the get go. They felt as if something was following them. I HATE THAT FEELING. I say turn around and go back. Something startled them and I have to admit, I was impressed with the amount of expletive sensors there were in that part of the show. *HIGH FIVE* Kris explained it as a dragging, sliding sound and I'm sorry...all I could picture after that was Texas Chainsaw Massacre...my bad. Yeah like a dragging body... icky!
THE REVEAL *drumroll*: The Research Building proved to be a hot spot for activity. (Remember the shadow getting it's workout?) There was a sound caught on tape which sounded like someone kicking a puppy. Honestly didn't look at it that way... but I totally see it now. I know, cruel but it was a dead person, what can we do? The best evidence caught, in my opinion was the sound that startled Kris and Amy in the unknown building. There was a clear video of the door, right behind them, closing by itself. Total creepy moment. And the fact that they always want to go back and "investigate" more makes me want to cry. Now that is what I'm talking about!
So on that note... Stay creepy!
Nikki & Kristin
