The Back-Up Plan... Chick Flick or Great Movie?
I will be totally honest with you, I went to the Back-Up Plan expecting nothing. I had heard from the critics that it wasn't that good and that the performances by Jennifer Lopez an Alex O'Loughlin were stale and poorly acted. I'd like to say to those critics... YOU SUCK!! I totally fell in love with this movie. Maybe i'm a sucker for a love story but I really enjoyed this movie. Here's a quick run down on what it's about:
Jennifer Lopez is looking for love in New York... I get the feeling this happens a lot! Anyhow, she can't seem to find a man, and decides to have a baby by artificial insemination... Well wouldn't you know it, the very day she has it she meets Alex... they fall in love, have some probs along the way but end up being this really great couple.
Ok so it sounds cheesy, but its really not!! This movie was clever, intelligent and just made you feel good about life...
PLUS... Looking at Alex O'Loughlin for 2 hours isn't too shabby let me tell you... Especially when he does his best Jacob Black impersonation and loses to the shirt... Did I mention that Alex has a accent in real life? Yeah he does... ITS HOT!!
I give this movie 3.5 out of 5 stars... Go and enjoy a really cute love story!!
